Bealtaine blessings to all!
âI created these two pieces having tuned in to the energy of this Bealtaine. They may be of interest to those running Bealtaine Circles or those doing their own Bealtaine ceremony who perhaps would like some musical/energetic support.
The first is for the opening of the Circle and the second is an approx 20 minute drone that would be appropriate as background for ceremony or meditation after the opening.
Both available to stream on my Soundcloud or you can email me at lauralairmusic ATgmailDOTcom to be sent the link for download, my gift to you this BealtaineÂ

Although itâs called St.Patrickâs Day- or Paddyâs Day if youâre Irish (*never* Pattyâs Day American friends!!)- I personally donât see March 17th as a day for Patrick but instead a day for all facets of Irish life to be celebrated- our incredible authors, musicians, artists; our beautiful language- ĂĄr theanga, Gaeilge, our rich culture and history- a history that despite what is so often projected, equally includes Herstory. And the treatment of Irish women and girls by our systems have quite often been brutalâŚ
âCarry Me Homeâ is a piece Iâve written as a tribute to all those women who left and never got to come home to Ireland- those women who were expelled from Irish life both literally and metaphorically. As I wrote it, I remembered especially the women and babies in Tuam and around our country, who had their lives ripped apart by the Catholic church and the barbaric mother and baby homes. All those women who died subjugated by a cruel system. I wish them peace and I send them love. Suaimhneas sĂoraĂ dĂĄ n-anam.

A day that the state dedicates to a British man who perceived the native people, in his own words, as âbarbarousâ and who is credited with bringing the patriarchal system of Christianity to our country feels a great day to release a piece dedicated to and for the women of Ireland.

Out Today! https://syncretismrecords.bandcamp.com/album/sonic-textures-04

Very happy to have my track Reform on this awesome compilation by Syncretism Records, also featuring music from Swarm Intelligence, 6SISS, Nemrac and Voicedrone
“Sonic Textures” is the turbulent, dissonant voice speaking for eccentric artists with different influences and backgrounds.
The fourth Various Artists Compilation presented by Syncretism gathers together several composition approaches, bringing a new paradigm of sonic textures and unexpected arrangements.
