Samhain is upon us.

The veil is thin.

Tonight is a time for contemplation and gratitude.

If you can, and it appeals, allow the darkness to descend as afternoon moves to evening moves to night.

Spend this time in the comfort of darkness, sinking into it. Allowing yourself to move within and be guided to hear any messages your body, mind, emotions or otherwise are ready to speak for your highest good.

At midnight, light a candle and set your intention for the coming year, writing it out and placing it somewhere safe and special to you.

I recorded parts of my train journey from the stunning Kutná Hora to Prague and thought adding snippets of tracks from my future ‘Journeying EP’ would be a nice way to share this beautiful countryside. Highly recommend visiting both places- really beautiful buildings, beautiful atmosphere, really friendly people and incredible nature all around ✴️

Very happy to start my residency at EMS today. Ian and I will be working on our first noeverything album during our time here.

“Since 1964, EMS Elektronmusikstudion is the centre for Swedish electroacoustic music and sound-art. EMS is run as an independent part of Musikverket (Swedish Performing Arts Agency).

Besides making professional studios available for the production of electroacoustic music and sound-art, EMS’ aim is to support artistic development of electroacoustic music and its integration within other artistic areas. EMS represents electroacoustic music from Sweden in various international contexts and sees as one of its main tasks to act as an informer, both nationally and internationally. Foreign composers regularly come to EMS to work and may be granted a working period by submitting a project application according to the same conditions that Swedish composers are subject to.”
